With the worldwide debut of the all-new Elgrand and a refreshed Patrol at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Nissan grabbed center stage and showed a daring step forward in its technology and philosophy design. Using futuristic style with cutting-edge electrification and driver-assistance systems, the carmaker displayed its vision of premium mobility.

Nissan’s ‘Timeless Japanese Futurism’ design philosophy is reflected in the flagship MPV, the fourth-generation Elgrand. Based on the Hyper Tourer idea, the updated model has a bold fascia with pixel-inspired LED lighting, a continuous light bar along the bonnet, and an illuminated Nissan emblem. The smooth, sculpted lines blend flawlessly into a back profile emphasized by full-width tail lights and a gloss-black panel, therefore creating a clear presence.
From the interior, Nissan has transformed connection and comfort. Featuring a dual-screen configuration, ambient lighting, and a modern dashboard with touch-sensitive controls instead of conventional gear levers, the Elgrand’s cabin emanates sophistication. The inclusion of a dual wireless charger, rear-seat entertainment screens, and a 22-speaker Bose system further strengthens its emphasis on passenger luxury. Second-row captain seats feature electric recline and leg-rest capabilities, so underlining its luxury car-like appearance.

Under the hood, Nissan’s third-generation e-Power hybrid system matched with the revised e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive configuration for the Elgrand. Reducing body pitch during acceleration or braking, this arrangement guarantees a smoother, more regulated ride. Offering hands-free driving and lane-change assistance at speeds up to 50 km/h, Nissan’s newest ProPilot suite will also be included in the model. Nissan unveiled an updated Patrol, an ongoing symbol of the brand’s sturdy past, together with the Elgrand. Nissan has largely revealed this information, but it applies to most of the lineup at the Japan mobility show. Nissan Leaf arrives as America’s Most Affordable EV
Combining its classic off-road roots with hybrid powertrain choices and contemporary driver aids, the SUV mirrors Nissan’s drive for sustainable performance all across its inventory. Set for launch in Japan in 2026, the new Elgrand shows Nissan’s goal to transform family luxury mobility. The car company hopes to improve the travel experience, not only for drivers but also for every passenger aboard, by combining electrification, design innovation, and smart technology.
