Following the July 1 pricing and specs announcement for the EV4, Kia has now presented details on the four-door saloon version of the EV4, the EV4 Fastback. Priced from £40,895, it comes standard with the Kia AI Assistant and has an 81. 4kWh battery offering a WLTP range of up to 380 miles.

Kia’s first electric saloon and first four-door electric vehicle, offered in two trim levels: the ‘GT-Line’ and the ‘GT-Line S’. Like the EV4 hatchback, EV4 Fastback has a single front-mounted 150kW motor, reaching 0-62mph in only 7.9 seconds. The EV4 Fastback is 5mm broader and 300mm longer than the conventional EV4; the extra length is due to a 300mm rear overhang.

Kia EV4 GT Line

Kia’s connected Navigation Cockpit display and a voice-controlled Kia AI assistant driven by ChatGPT, also found in the current EV3 models, are available in both trim levels. Along with a huge front sunroof, heated seats, Remote Parking Assist, and a configurable heads-up display, the new GT-Line S variant has premium front relaxation seats that fold almost flat at the push of an electric button.

EV4 Fastback’s both trims painted Fusion White for an extra £625, optional premium colors are offered, including Midnight Black, Magma Red, Yacht Blue, Shale Grey, and Moonlight Mint. Both trim levels feature Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform 400V charging capacity, which allows for charging from 10% to 80% in only 29 minutes with a 350kW DC fast charger or taking 5 hours and 20 minutes with an 11kW AC charger.

Starting at £40,895, the GT-Line S is priced from £45,395. With deliveries scheduled to start this autumn, orders for both the Kia EV4 and the EV4 Fastback are now being accepted under this pricing plan. The basic trim is nearly £3,000 cheaper than the top-tier EV4 GT-Line S, which is priced at £43,895.
