This region is just 40 miles from the original production location of the legendary Land Rover Defender at the Lode Lane factory. ECD is renowned for its restorations and changes of long-ago defenders. Still, their business has expanded to encompass the amazing Jaguar E-Type models exhibited at an exclusive first drive along the beautiful California coast.
ECD made several changes to their 1973 E-Type during the restor-modding process in an effort to achieve this. Though its exterior may seem nicely renovated, beneath it is a potent yet familiar engine. A GM LT1 Smallblock V-8 engine acquired from a C7 Corvette has been installed in the Series 3 Coupe by ECD. This implies that this 1973 Jaguar has a remarkable 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. It’s crucial to clarify that it doesn’t exactly feel like a traditional ‘Jaguar’ before purists voice their displeasure.
