Ford Shelby F-250 Super Baja Sells for Just $70,500, Making It a Massive Bargain

Ford Shelby F-250

An elusive 2021 Ford F-250 Shelby Super Baja sold for $70,500 on the online auction site Bring a Trailer, a result many in the auto industry are referring to as ‘the steal of the year.’

One of only 250 vehicles manufactured for the 2021 model year, this Super Baja is finished in Oxford White with the trademark black Shelby stripes and shows 46,000 miles on the odometer.

The cost of this truck is significantly lower than that of other similar trucks; the Super Baja had a price tag of $1,29,999 before.

The powerful 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V8 engine with approximately 475 hp and a staggering 1,050 lb-ft of torque is backed by a ten-speed auto transmission complete with a dual-range transfer case and electronic locking differential at the rear.

However, the complete transformation of the truck from a regular heavy-duty pickup to a Super Baja by Shelby is what really sets it apart.

The truck is equipped with 37-inch off-road tyres mounted on black 18-inch Shelby wheels, and the lifting of the vehicle is done through custom control arms, a lift kit, and double steering stabilizers. It rolls on a specially designed FOX / BDS off-road suspension system with extraordinary capacity to overcome the rough, sandy, or dirt.

On the exterior, the Super Baja has robust features: powder-coated steel bumpers with tow points, a chase rack holding dual spare tyres, a strong 50-inch LED light bar (alongside a 40-inch curved bar in front), rock-sliders, retractable running boards, a spray-in bed liner, tinted glass, and the iconic Shelby stripes.

Inside, the cabin combines harshness with comfort via black leather seats embroidered with Shelby branding, racing-style billet pedals, carbon-fiber trim, stitched floor mats, and a dash showing a serialized Shelby plate.

Modern features include heated/ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, surround-view camera system, and premium sound system.
